Dear Mr. Von Lo-Debar - I very pleased by your starting idea and your passion - I'm a bit slow about clearing my list of inputs (many thousands of essays behind, always), but I absolutely do intend to read your book and respond to it, intelligently. Thank you so much for that response! You're resonating with my single most important theme. I remain convinced that we moderns feel helpless and impotent mostly because we have been convinced hope must be a theory and a faction. Nope - HOPE IS A PLAN! (and then a whole lot of work).
That is, we need to work on way more mental tools for self-overcoming and reasons to 'do' and way fewer reasons for fury (which always makes us foolish and manipulable).
